Why should we attend an IWE Study Tour? We take care of all the details for you. All arrangements are prepared in advance. Insurance, travel, food, accommodation, admission, and tips costs are all included in the fees. We give you a worry-free experience. We are experienced in handling situations.
We are knowledgeable about North American education systems and can answer your questions. Our tour leaders, local Canadian high school teachers, are experts in the Canadian school system and give the students professional advice.
Why don't you visit other schools on the study tour? We try to cover a variety of campus types while visiting most peoples' top choices. To use time wisely, we design a route that reduces hours on the bus. Some highly desirable schools are not in our itinerary because they are an inconvenient detour. See our current itinerary.
Can I plan my own tour? If you have a group of minimum 10 people, and would like to visit a school that is not included, contact us.
What travel documents do I need? You must have a valid passport as well as a visa if you are not a holder of a Canadian passport. Contact us if you have any questions and we will do our best to help you.
What should I bring?
Everyone will receive a pre-departure package that includes emergency contact information, the weather forecast, a medical insurance card, the student workbook,, a suggested packing list, the itinerary, and other details. We recommend packing light!
What is the minimum age? The best time for a student to visit top schools is between Grades 6 - 11, but there is no minimum age for the tour. We have been joined by children as young as 8 and adults as old as 80!
How long have you been running study tours? IWE Study has had 10 years of experience organizing study tours in China. Since our founding in Vancouver in 2008, we have organized 10 study tour groups. We have had 210 participating students, parents, and teachers. We are grateful to have been supported by 22 independent and public schools in Greater Vancouver.
