Your Score Booster owner Richard Dalton, who has been teaching college-entrance exams since 2005, developed The Dalton Method of test preparation, which includes tips and tricks he developed by analyzing nearly 50 College Board SAT exams. He holds a dual bachelor's degrees in computer science and mathematics and a master’s degree in journalism. Before he began teaching college-entrance exams, he was an award-winning investigative reporter, contributing to several news stories nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. Richard has taught journalism at The State University of New York, helping students improve their grammar and writing. After teaching university students for nearly a decade, he took a 51-hour SAT Princeton Review training course in New York to teach SAT classes.

Craig Elworthy specializes in teaching the SAT and ACT reading and writing sections, helping students gain entry to top U.S. universities. After completing his TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate in Vancouver, he taught ESL (English as a Second Language) in Korea. Craig graduated from the University of Victoria with a degree in History.

Angela graduated from Crofton House School in Vancouver with top marks in AP Literature, AP Calculus, and French. She is doing exceedingly well at UBC, receiving the Trek Excellence Scholarship, Charles and Jane Banks Scholarship, J Fred Muir Memorial Scholarship in Science on the basis of her grades. In her free time, she's passionate about music, and went on to receive an ARCT diploma in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She also made it to the final eight in Sunshine Nation 2015, a pageant hosted by Fairchild Radio.

Bill was born in Guangzhou, China and immigrated to Canada at the age of four. He first learnt to teach when he was in the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Program back in high school. He is currently a second lieutenant in the Canadian Forces Cadet Instructors' Cadre, where he teaches and trains cadets. Bill holds a double major in history and English literature from UBC. While doing his degree, he completed his TESL certificate, spending the summer of 2016 teaching English in Kyoto. Bill is also a skilled writer, having spent years as a print journalist.

​Claire graduated from UBC, majoring in Genetics and Food, Nutrition, and Health. While studying at the UBC, she worked as an alumni guide and peer consultant. She is very passionate about scientific education and she hopes to help students develop an interest in studies. Her goal for students is to be able to apply system thinking and integrative thinking methods into problem solving and future decision-making.     ​

Darwin graduated from the University Transitions Program at the age of 14, having started his high school degree at 13 years of age and finishing it a year later. He achieved the highest physics and math marks in his class, receiving outstanding achievement in both subjects. Passionate about anything to do with creativity and design, Darwin is currently doing his bachelor’s degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and hopes to complete a graduate program in Biomedical Engineering. He is an active member of the UBC Rocket design team, where he engineers multiple smaller rockets to test flight-critical components used in the competition design. In his free time, Darwin is passionate about digital art, illustration, and design.

Darwin’s teaching method is primarily focused on problem-solving strategies, a skill that is critical to excelling in the highly theoretical subjects of math and physics. He hopes to help students better understand the high-school system of subject exams and problem sets, and to create greater awareness for different skills not taught in the traditional classroom environment.​

Mr. Tian Hao Wang

Mr. Wang has been teaching for more than 30 years, with more than 17 years in teaching Math and Sciences in North America. 

With his instructions and advice, many of his students achieved perfect scores in Math courses and got into their dream universities.
